The Pittsburgh Steelers have made some roster moves prior to the game against the Cleveland Browns, by placing Mike Wallace, Curtis Brown and Mike Adams on injured reserve.
In their stead, they signed nose tackle Alameda Ta'amu and wide receiver David Gilreath from their practice squad, and they reportedly claimed nose tackle Hebron Fangupo off waivers from the Seattle Seahawks. The additions of Ta’amu and Fangupo should not impact the game day roster, but, it should signal the end of the Casey Hampton era in Pittsburgh. With Wallace out of action, Gilreath should be active for Sunday, and at least play a larger role as a return man on special teams. He has spent time on both the Steelers practice squad and active roster in 2012, as well as a short stint with Tampa Bay.
