In 2012, the veteran kicker from Bowling Green University has been one of the most  dependable members of the up-and-down Steelers franchise. In 2012, he has connected on 24-of-25 field goal attempts including the 3-for-3 effort against the Ravens. The 41-yard tally to cap the game was also the sixth game-winning kick of his career.

Often viewed by some fans as a weak link, this was the second time he won the award for the Steelers, after winning the honors in 2007 with Washington Redskins. He has also become one of the most consistent players on the roster this season and one that has truly embraced playing in the elements at Heinz Field.
