STEELERS 101

As expected the Pittsburgh Steelers will have center Maurkice Pouncey in uniform when they line up against the Washington Redskins. While the Pro Bowl center is active for the match-up, Pro Bowl safety Troy Polamalu (Calf) is again on the inactive list.

Joining Polamalu on the sidelines today will be quarterback Charlie Batch, cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke, running backs Isaac Redman (Ankle) and Rashard Mendenhall, tackle Marcus Gilbert (Foot), linebacker Brandon Johnson (Hamstring). With Van Dyke inactive, newly re-signed safety Damon Cromartie-Smith will get a shot to show what he can do on special teams.
