The fallout from rookie nose tackle Alameda Ta’amu’s arrest this weekend continues to swirl. With one swift move, they not only sent a message to the rookie defensive lineman, but to all their players, by suspending the rookie two-games without pay for his weekend incident.
Ta’amu, who is also banned from team activities or facilities during the suspension, must now focus on his October 23 hearing on the multiple charges he is facing from his night on the town. With this punishment, the Steelers are again proving to be at the forefront of the league, as many teams would not offer up quick punishment without league interaction.Also,
