After a weekend of building frustrations, the Pittsburgh Steelers may finally have received some good news on the injury front. While they are not going to be very healthy heading into their Week 7 match-up against the Cincinnati Bengals, they are getting closer.
After a workout today, it appears that linebacker LaMarr Woodley may be able to return in time for the Sunday night AFC North battle. In fact, Woodley may not be the only regular that will be able to suit up against the Bengals, as running back Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) may be available as well.Unfortunately, it appears that unless there is a miracle, safety Troy Polamalu will miss another game due to his calf injury. In all, Polamalu has missed the majority of four games this season with the injury suffered in the season opener against the Denver Broncos.
The Steelers could also be without center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle), tackle Marcus Gilbert (lower leg), and running back Isaac Redman (ankle) as they face the Bengals forcing some inexperienced players into action.
