For the second time in his career, Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Shaun Suisham was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week, after kicking three field goals including the game winner with no time on the clock against the Philadelphia Eagles.
In 2012, the veteran kicker from Bowling Green University has been one of the consistent members of the up-and-down Steelers franchise, connecting on all eight of his field goal attempts including the 3-for-3 effort against the Eagles. The 34-yard tally to cap the game was also the fifth game-winning kick of his career.Often viewed by some fans as a weak link, this was the first time he won the award for the Steelers, after winning the honors in 2007 with Washington Redskins.
